HOW DO ALLOYGATORS PROTECT MY WHEELS?
AlloyGators are made from a "super-tough nylon" which is flexible but incredibly durable. They are designed to sit slightly proud of the wheel rim. When you accidentally hit a curb, the AlloyGator absorbs the impact and scrapes against the curb instead of your expensive alloy metal, preventing irreversible damage.
ARE THEY SAFE FOR MY TIRES?
Yes. AlloyGators are MIRA certified and TUV approved, which are high-level automotive safety standards. When installed by a certified center like FGTW Motors, they do not affect tire inflation or bead retention. They are compatible with run-flat tires and standard tires alike.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY TIRES?
You can still change your tires with AlloyGators installed. However, you must inform your tire fitter that they are fitted. They can usually remain in place during a tire change, or be re-fitted afterwards, provided they haven't sustained heavy damage themselves.
DOES IT FIT ALL CARS?
AlloyGators are designed to be universally compatible with approximately 98% of wheel and tire combinations. They fit wheels ranging from 12 inches up to 24 inches in diameter. During your consultation, we will inspect your specific wheel profile to ensure a perfect fit.
